跨國混班
2022年8月，台灣仍受新冠肺炎疫情影響，邊境管制，外國人入境受限。本校延續去年做法，以線上及實體同步的方式辦理跨國混班，邀請了47位台灣境內各大專校院之外籍學生來校參與、27位姐妹校學生及13位在台外籍生線上參與，並由32位弘光學生擔任國際學伴，合計119人共度2022的夏天。

I had amazing experiences during the two weeks of Summer Program Online 2022. The Summer Program Online 2022 contained several activities from Chinese Courses, Special Effect Makeup, Perfect Match, Patchwork, Physical Therapy. Every activity was designed so perfectly and we were received the parcel for practicing it (although it arrived after the program has ended). I like the Physical Therapy course because it is useful, I can get knowledge from it and maybe one day I will apply it when it’s needed. My friends and I joined the Summer Program ONLINE, and I hope I could join the Summer Program offline next year because we could be more mingled and get closer to one another.
It was such an honor for me to participate in Summer Program 2022. There were friends from different countries, so I can engage in international circle. I would like to say thank you to Hungkuang University that prepared, planned, and executed this program for us. Thank you to the teachers, buddies and of course my beloved friends. See you guys next time in Taiwan!

First of all, I would like to thank the organizers who created this program, 2022 HKU Summer Program ONLINE. I felt very lucky have been chosen as a participant in this program. I had learned a lot of things, about knowledge, skills or just simple tips in life through this program, everything was very interesting.
This was my first time to have the classes with so many foreign students. Even though it was just an online course, I still felt the connection among the participants. In my opinion, all the topics of the program were very good and unique, such as Calligraphy, Physical Therapy and so on.
Once again, thanks to the organizers and the friends from different countries. I hope I can have a chance to visit Taiwan and also Hungkuang in the near future!

I have been learning Chinese since my first year of college and want to learn practical Chinese conversation, so I joined this program. I was very nervous at first because I was participating in an online program, but the teacher in charge explained the program in a way that was easy to understand for online participants, so I was able to enjoy learning Chinese and also about the culture. Unfortunately, I could not communicate directly with other participants. Therefore, I learned the importance of proactive communication. I hope I can have the opportunity to join the program on-campus next year and communicate with buddies in Chinese.

I joined this Summer Program as an online student. I could communicate with both on-campus and ONLINE students even though I could not join it in Taiwan. The classes I was impressed were Chinese Course, Perfect Match and Closing Ceremony. In the Chinese Course, we had opportunities to speak Chinese and we were able to communicate with all the students. In the Perfect Match and Closing Ceremony, we could communicate with both on-campus students and online students while singing, performing, and expressing ourselves. Not only the classes listed above but also all the classes were fun to me. There were more international students than I thought and I learned a lot of foreign culture from all the participants. Thanks for giving me such a wonderful opportunity and I would like to join the Summer Program in Taiwan next year.

This was the first and maybe the last time that I have joined a real summer camp and this program was impressive. At first, the program was arranged well with several activities and it was easy to follow and no confusion. Our buddies were extremely friendly and helpful that gave us information and always took care of us. We played with 100% energy, staffs and buddies worked with 200% to make the beautiful memories. The atmosphere is always refreshing and youthful that I haven’t felt before that made me feel younger and happier. I have had new experiences, knowing how to organize an activity which is important for my future career. Thank you for giving me new friends, new knowledge and new experience. Thank you very much.

I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to the organizers of this event on behalf of all international students in Taiwan. I have been in Taiwan for almost 3 years now and this program was the first opportunity I have gotten to experience local culture, in terms of the tea ceremony, making local delicacies such as pineapple cakes and bubble milk tea, calligraphy and the appreciation of local music. Opportunities for international students to immerse themselves in the beauty of Taiwan culture aren't that many. This program gave me a deeper appreciation of this land and I'll forever be grateful for that.

一開始我是因為想交一些新朋友而報名參加Summer Program。從一開始的活動籌備、分配每個人的職位、講述各自要負責的工作以及活動的討論，雖然有些人因為工作、確診沒辦法每次都到現場，但大家都很積極參與！在活動開始前幾乎每天都要練習跳舞，討論小遊戲，從一開始的肢體不協調到能夠跳完整首歌曲，真的有滿滿的成就感。
在活動正式開始的那一天真的真的很緊張，坐在簽到處等著大家，想著等等就會見到未來兩個禮拜的學員，就覺得很緊張。對於我這個話癆的人來說，參加這個活動的好處就是強迫講英文，想跟他們聊天、交朋友就得這樣，最後也真的會越來越敢講英文，即使你講的不是很好，需要朋友在旁邊或是拿著翻譯輔助也沒關係，只要對方能聽懂就是有效溝通。我也學習到了如何與不同國家的人相處，像是在與外國學員溝通時，偶爾會因為文化差異感到不太適應，但在國際處學姐和其他學伴的幫助下，就能知道他們並沒有惡意，只是表達的方式不同。
老實說我真的沒想到一時興起參加的Summer Program 可以讓我學習到這麼多，除了英文突飛猛進外還能認識許多來自不同個國家的朋有。至今為止，我還記得面試的當下、見面的興奮以及和他們度過的這兩週，有哭有笑，而現在仍有保持聯絡。如果要問在Summer Program 最令人難忘的是什麼，我會回答是人，是和我們一起度過這兩個禮拜的所有人。

能夠參加這個活動真的很開心，活動一開始還有點害怕跟外國人講話，因為自己的英文不太好，很害怕他們聽不懂我說的話而不耐煩，但是學員們人都很好，會慢慢的聽我講話，如果我表達不清楚，他們也會教我正確的英文，參加這個活動也讓我對說英文不害怕。雖然每天都很累，但是都很開心也很充實！學伴們都很好也很熱情，當我遇到困難他們都會來幫助我，真的很感謝他們。這次的活動讓我更加敢跟外國人對話，我的英語口說能力也有進步，也讓我認識了許多朋友！兩週的時間說長不長說短也不短，但是結束的時候真的會難過，因為也許未來可能就不會再見面了，如果未來有機會我還會想再參加！這次活動真的好棒！
